With an extended range of up to 8km, Cobra MT 645 VP are walkie-talkies for adventurers. Complete with VOX (hands free) technology and weighs only 98g, the MT 645 is the ideal accompaniment to any backpacking or hiking kit. If you’re sitting on top of a mountain or in the depths of a valley, the MT 645 walkie-talkies will keep you in constant communication with your travelling companions.

Multi-Device Compatiblity.
MT645 Walkie-Talkie communicates with all other PMR 446 Radios. 

Long Distance Reception.
Cobra MT645 uses UHF/FM frequencies for ultra-clear long distance reception.

Range.
Up to 8km range. (This depends on conditions and terrain)

Eight Frequency Channels.
The front panel push buttons provide easy access to all 8 frequency channels for ease of use.

121 Privacy Codes.
38 Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System (CTCSS) codes and 83 DCS (Digitally Coded Squelch) codes provide a total of 121 privacy codes. 968 privacy combinations are possible when the 8 channels are combined with the 121 privacy codes.

Voice Activated Transmission.
For speed of use, Cobra MT645 uses voice detection and transmits without the need to press any buttons, freeing the user's hands for other tasks. 5 VOX sonsitivity levels allow users to select at which point the radio will detect the voice. 

Scan Function.
The scan function allows users to scan either channels, CTCSS privacy codes within a channel, or DCS codes within a channel to locate conversations in progress.

6 AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries.
Cobra MT645 VP includes 6 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries but can additionally use 3 AA alkaline batteries (not included) 

Battery Saver Function.
A unique battery saver circuit extends the battery life of the batteries. If there are no transmissions or usage within 10 seconds, the unit will automatically switch to battery saver mode.

Key Lock.
Elimininate the chances of accidental channel changes by locking down the key pad when in use.

Call Alert.
Provides up to 5 different easily recognisable alert for incoming calls.

Confirmation Tone/Beep.
A confirmation tone indicates the completion of the user's transmission, signalling to others it's clear to talk. This is user selectable.

Weak Transmission.
The auto squelch function automatically shuts off weak transmissions or unwanted noise due to conditions, terrain or range constraints.

LCD Display.
Easy to view LCD display provides the radio's status at a glance.

Keystroke Tone Signal.
Confirms key activation.

No Licence or Subscription Fees.
We do not charge licence or subscription fees for the high quality band frequencies.

Speaker/Microphone/Charge Jack.
MT645 allows the use of an AC charger or personal headphones and microphone for 'hands-free' operation.
