Assos has specifically tailored their skinFoils to the climatic conditions you’re likely to find throughout the four seasons. It has short sleeves and a mid-weight insulation. As with all the skinFoil base layers, the key to their effectiveness, and seasonal appropriateness, lies in how the technicians at Assos have blended the polypropylene fibers. For the spring and even more so for the summer version, they use a relatively light mix that is focused on wicking the moisture away from your torso.

Thus, the new ASSOS skinFoil bodyInsulator series has been specifically designed to go with your ASSOS jersey or jacket, from both an ergonomic and a technical point of view, making it the perfect next-to-skin layer for ASSOS riders.

The construction

Seamless construction allows for a pleasing, non-restrictive, total comfort fit. The textile has not been knit using flatbed technology; it is spun on tubular machines, much like a sock. 

The Key Fabric 

SkinFoil yarns use an innovative polypropylene fiber blend that is extraordinarily light and able to absorb, transport and evaporate moisture quickly and efficiently. As well, its anti-odour fibre matrix is dermatologically tested and approved.
