This not-so-little town anymore had its first "village" established at the foot of Paarl Rock by 1690. Paarl was originally known as Drakenstein, after the local church congregation, but has since become Paarl, meaning "pearl" in Dutch. Paarl is full of rich history and every vine, wine and piece of land has a story to tell. Come and taste for yourself.

This Package Includes

• Open Tuesday to Sunday, 09h30 - 17h00.
• Various Routes to choose from upon availability.
• Wine estates to be seen are Simonsnvlei, Landskroon, Under Oaks, Windmeul, Rhebokskloof, Vondeling, Avondale and Vendome.
• The ticket sales office is at Simonsvlei and all departures are also from here.

Wine Safari Includes

• A visit to three wine estates in Paarl
• A tasting at all the wine estates
• Tour operator
• Transport to and from estates in a game viewer
• Tours are approximately 3h30min in duration.
• The tours are organised, meaning that you visit a set group of estates and cellars. There are no hop-on/hop-off routes. The game viewer will drive guests on various routes simultaneously and pick you up at the designated wine farm where you were previously dropped off at.
• You will be presented with a route timeline infographic for you to keep track of your departure and estate pick-up times.
