  • Administer the chewable tablet appropriate for your dog’s weight at monthly intervals.
  • Active Ingredients: Each tablet contains 1.9% of Afoxolaner and 0.4% of Milbemycin Oxime.
    • Afoxolaner is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic used to kill external parasites such as fleas and ticks. Afoxolaner is absorbed into the bloodstream and distributed throughout the body where it is ingested by parasites as they feed. The drug works by blocking the transmission of neuronal signals, resulting in hyperexcitation, paralysis and death.
    • Milbemycin Oxime is an endoparasiticide and ectoparasiticide, meaning it kills both internal and external parasites. It is effective against heartworms, intestinal worms and mites. It works by interfering with glutamate neuro-transmission, leading to paralysis and death.
  • The safety of NexGard Spectra has not been established during pregnancy and lactation or in breeding dogs.

Break it down, feather!

Fun fact time! Did you know that ducks are incredibly social animals, and can communicate with their siblings even when they're still in their eggs? How adorable is that? Their bills (as in their beaks, not their electricity bills) are almost as sensitive as human fingerprints. Much like us South Africans, they have different accents, and quack differently depending on where they live.

Also much like us South Africans, they tend to look all cool and calm on the surface, while just underneath, they're kicking madly to stay afloat and move forward. That's why there's nothing better than getting into your comfy bed at the end of a long day. Particularly if you have a 100% duck feather duvet like our deal on this one from Cielo.
