About

Whether road cyclist or mountain biker, optimal all-round visibility is essential for top performances on road or trail. At high speed, our eyes must work harder: when the road markings mix with gray asphalt, or on trails, when rocks, roots and gravel begin to alternate on a fast descent. This requires sports eyewear that doesn’t restrict vision, but supports it. uvex sportstyle 812 is made to do this.

uvex sportstyle 812 base curve 10 lenses create a completely new level of peripheral vision on a bike. The highly curved lens, with a full 1-centimeter curve, significantly increases the visible field and improves protection – without any distortion. As well as a wide field of view, the optical curve increases protection and freedom from drafts. Soft nose pads and earpiece ends improve comfort and ensure a great fit for this lightweight half frame eyewear. Direct lens ventilation and uvex supravision® technology prevents fogging.

Read all about it!

Just the other day, some of us in the office were talking about how far we've come in terms of technology. There are still plenty of us who remember what life was like without smartphones and GPS, having to navigate our way around town with a big ol' map book on the passenger seat, having spent a good chunk of time writing down the directions.

The same schlep could be said about simply ordering a pizza - you had to do it over the phone, and man you'd be bummed if they misheard "avocado" and added "anchovies".

It only makes sense, then, that the simple pleasure of reading would find its way into the 21st century. Sure, there is a classic nostalgia to enjoying a well-read book, but have you ever tried carting a copy of War & Peace with you on holiday? That thing could see you charged for extra baggage! Lose the weight and ease the nostalgia and check out our main deal, a Kindle. It just makes sense.
