Catan

The women and men of your expedition build the first two settlements. Fortunately, the land is rich in natural resources. You build roads and new settlements that eventually become cities. Will you succeed in gaining supremacy on Catan? Barter trade dominates the scene.

Use resources-grain, wool, ore, lumber, and brick-to build roads, settlements, cities and key cultural milestones. Get resources by rolling the dice or by trading with other players. But beware! You never know when someone will block your way or if the robber will strike and steal your hard-earned goods.

Picture yourself in the era of discoveries: after a long voyage of great deprivation, your ships have finally reached the coast of an uncharted island. Its name shall be Catan! But you are not the only discoverer. Other fearless seafarers have also landed on the shores of Catan: the race to settle the island has begun!

Catan: Seafarers 5-6 Player Extension

Now five to six players can sail into the wild, uncharted seas and explore and settle the many mysterious islands near Catan! Add one or two more opponents without sacrificing ease of play.

Catan: Traders & Barbarians Expansion

The expansion includes new scenarios and opens up roads to even greater wealth or bitter poverty for up to six players. You get new hexes, one for the castle, one to produce glass, and one to produce marble. You try to rebuild Catan after the invasion. You get gold and victory points if you finish tasks in the castle, but to do so you have to travel back and forth to the castle on roads and undeveloped paths. There are still some barbarians around who interfere with trade routes.

Catan: Explorers & Pirates Expansion

Explorers & Pirates allows a fifth and sixth player to join in the building, trading, colonizing, fishing, sailing, pirate battling, and spice trading fun.

Catan: Cities & Knights Game Expansion

Flourishing trade brings prosperity to Catan. However, all this wealth also attracts barbarians. The knights of Catan are needed. The expansion can also be combined with “Seafarers” and “Traders & Barbarians”.

Catan: Seafarers Game Expansion

Build ships, set sail, and conquer the magnificent island world of Catan. Nine voyages of discovery are awaiting the settlers. The expansion can also be combined with Catan - Traders & Barbarians and Catan - Cities & Knights.
