The exclusive winery of Peter Falke is nestled against the majestic slopes of the Helderberg Mountains in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands, South Africa. Groenvlei Farm is home to rambling magenta bougainvillea, delicate scented roses and wild lavender growing alongside carefully cultivated vineyards. Dating back to the 18th century, the traditional gabled Cape Dutch buildings of the wine estate belie a contrasting modernity within. The stately old homestead is partnered by a “boutique” winery, contemporary wine tasting room and luxurious outdoor lounge which have established Peter Falke Wines as the most elegant and serene sundowner retreat in the winelands.

  • 2-3 months of contact on the lees enhanced the complexity of the finished product. 
  • Crisp and fresh with exquisite aromas of tropical fruit, guava and Cape gooseberry. 
  • Delicate hints of guava skin and green apple on the palate, with intense grapefruit flavours and a great minerality and flintiness on the finish.
  • Enjoy on its own, or pair with seafood dishes such as crayfish alongside a cucumber dill salad.

3x Blanc de Noir 2023

  • Awards: Gold Gilbert & Gaillard, 95+ South African Wine Index, Double Gold Rose Rocks 2023
  • Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were used to make the Blanc de Noir.
  • After two days of settling, the clean juice was extracted, leaving the sediment behind.
  • The juice was then fermented at 14 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks.
  • Hues of delicate blush pink colour with subtle aromas of crushed strawberries, ripe nectarine and flower petals.
  • The palate finishes with a freshness of pomegranates and a stylish silkiness.
  • A refreshing summer wine.
  • Enjoyed on its own or paired with sushi, curry or desserts such as Pavlova.
