Performance is the first RIEDEL wine glass series ever to feature bowls with a light optic impact, which not only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl but also increases the inner surface area.

The Sauvignon Blanc glass is perfect for all styles of this variety, from the grassy, fruit-forward wines of the Marlborough to the oak-aged, honeyed blends from Bordeaux. To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the very first Sauvignon Blanc glass, RIEDEL released a new glass shape for this aromatic white wine. RIEDEL collaborated with various regions including Marlborough, New Zealand, to design the new product to suit the variety’s evolving New World style. This glass is also recommended for dessert wines. The optic impact in the RIEDEL Performance series adds both a design feature and an astounding effect on wine’s aromatics. This pack contains two glasses. Machine-made and dishwasher safe.

The Oaked Chardonnay glass is perfect to reveal the intensity of full-bodied white wines, including the wine's multi-layered aromas.
With a larger volume, the wide open-mouthed bowl enables the rich bouquet to develop its wonderfully diverse range of aromas, emphasizing the finesse while minimizing the risk of richer-style white wines becoming over-concentrated.

The Pinot Noir glass is perfect to support the balance of fragility and fresh compact fruit in light-bodied wines from the New World.
Created during several workshops, the tulip shape and slightly flared lip highlights the irresistible sweetness, whilst perfectly balancing the acidity and deemphasizing the alcohol, to create a perfect picture of the wine.
The optic impact in the RIEDEL Performance series adds both a design feature and an astounding effect on wine's aromatics.

The Cabernet/Merlot glass is perfect for full-bodied, complex red wines that are high in tannin.
The generous size of this glass allows the bouquet to develop fully, and smooths out the rough edges. It emphasizes the fruit, playing down the bitter qualities of the tannin, and allows wines to achieve balance.
