The UPS 12V is an uninterruptible power supply for any 12V device and is ideal to supply backup power for Wi-Fi routers or CCTV cameras. During a blackout or load shedding, the UPS will automatically switch to battery power, and your device will stay ON without any interruption. You can expect an excess of 4 hours of backup power for a typical Wi-Fi router, but the actual backup time may be more or less depending on how much power your device consumes. The Mini UPS can be set up in seconds, with only one cable between the UPS and the device to connect.
Verify on your device's AC/DC adapter that it is 12V and that the output Amps rating is 2 or less (2.0A or less) then this is the right device for you. The unit supports DC power plugs with OD 5.5mm ID 2.1mm and OD 5.5mm ID 2.5mm. Should your device use a non-standard plug then an adapter will be required.
Ideal for use on 12V Wi-Fi Routers, ADSL Modems, Fibre Modems, Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems. This will keep the devices running during load shedding. The Mini UPS will automatically kick in when the AC power is lost and it will run until the AC power is back or the battery is empty.
