Rare black away shirt as worn in the 93-94 Double winning season. This design is perhaps most famously remembered for the events that occured against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in 1994-95. As he was walking towards the tunnel, Cantona launched a 'kung-fu' style kick into the crowd at Palace fan Matthew Simmons who had run down 11 stairs to shout abuse at the Frenchman. A lengthy ban from the game was inevitable. After facing disciplinary action, Cantona said, in a slow and deliberate manner, "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.” The Premier League hadn’t seen his like before and hasn’t since.
