These diamond look-a-like surpasses the beauty and elegance of a diamond by far with its fire and brilliance being more! They are composed of silicon carbide found in the crater left behind by a fallen meteor in 1893 by Henri Moissan. They sparkle bright and do not change colour or become cloudy. Moissanite's are measured in mm.  They have double refractive reflection with extreme brightness.  The fire, brilliance and sparkle is characteristic to a moissanite.  S & G's Moissanite's are hand cut by a master gem cutter to display it's fire and brilliance. 

The Princess-cut features a straight-sided rectangular outline with a brilliant style facet arrangement. It is a hybrid of shape and cutting style that produces more sparkle than traditional square/rectangular stone.
