This diamond look-a-like surpasses the beauty and elegance of a diamond by far with its fire and brilliance being more! They are composed of silicon carbide found in the crater left behind by a fallen meteor in 1893 by Henri Moissan. They sparkle bright and do not change colour or become cloudy. Moissanites are measured in mm. They have a double refractive reflection with extreme brightness. The fire, brilliance and sparkle are characteristic to a moissanite. S & G's Moissanites are hand-cut by a master gem cutter to display it's fire and brilliance.
