1. Solomon Crocodile: Poor Solomon is looking for some fun, but no one wants to play. The dragonflies tell him to buzz off, the storks get in a flap, and the hippo? Well, the less said about the hippo, the better! But then somebody else starts causing trouble . . . and for once it is NOT Solomon. Could it be the perfect pal for a lonely crocodile? Solomon Crocodile is a snappy, happy book from Catherine Rayner, winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal. This chunky board book format with a beautifully foiled cover is perfect for younger readers. Featuring instantly recognizable, stunning artwork and an irresistibly cheeky central character that children will love, Solomon Crocodile is a book to treasure.

2. Pirates in the Supermarket: There's an anchor in the butter! There's a spyglass by the juice! There are parrots on the carrots! There are PIRATES on the loose! For one little boy, a trip to the supermarket is turned upside down. A swashbuckling pirate crew wreak havoc in the aisles, but the grown-ups can't see them. Can he convince the pirates to behave? Chunky gift-edition board book of a hilarious new picture book from the bestselling author and illustrator team behind DINOSAURS IN THE SUPERMARKET.

3. How to Hide a Lion at School: Lions aren't allowed at school, but Iris's lion doesn't want to be left behind. He even stows away on the school trip to the museum, causing much madness and mayhem as he hides among the exhibits. The third warm and funny adventure in the bestselling HOW TO HIDE A LION series is guaranteed to delight children everywhere.

4. Five Cute Kittens: Enjoy the rhythm of this charming hide and seek rhyme as you count each cute kitten out and home again. Slide the embossed kitten’s to-and-fro to join in the fun.

5. Dinosaurs in the Supermarket: Dinosaurs in the Supermarket: There's a T. rex gobbling sausages, a Stegosaurus spilling beans! A Diplodocus in the frozen peas fills the aisles with greens! For one little boy, a trip to the supermarket is turned upside down. A band of dinosaurs wreak havoc in the aisles, but the grown-ups can't see them! Can he convince the dinosaurs to behave? Writer's block

Ours is about 3 feet by 3 feet, and on our left is the account's block. The marketing block is down the hall.

We're joking. Obviously.

Ours is at least 5 by 5, and on Wednesdays we're allowed to write in coffee shops to maintain the illusion that we're "successful" and "writerly".

Coming up with a write up for the simple sake of a write up does, however, become difficult when we're staring complete lack of creativity right in the face. But apparently asking management to cancel all the deals for the day isn't a viable fix.

As they so delicately put it, it'd be like a comedian having the option to suddenly cancel a show if they're not feeling up to it. Not on our watch, they said. You'll do a write up whether you like it or not, they said. And be funny, they said.

So here we are, doing a write up and being funny.
