There's a first time for everything!

It seems like only yesterday when getting from Point A to Point B without a vehicle of your own meant catching a bus, a minibus taxi, asking a friend for a lift or (oh, the horror!) having to call a cab. Back then, it wasn't like it is now - you sort of had to plan at least an hour in advance (a full working day was preferable), call a landline number to order the cab, then simply hope and pray the driver would arrive. Uber definitely changed all of that, simplifying travel, parking and even the need for a friend to be the 'designated driver'. Soon, they added UberEats to their repertoire, giving them something of a hero status - sure, food delivery has always been a thing, but much like the cab services of old, it was kinda sketchy, and the only thing one could really order was pizza. Nowadays, you can order anything from chicken wings to donuts - seriously, we did that at the office the other day.
