Floating Dutchman set out to create an original South African rum using the finest local ingredients. Originating in Cape Town in 2016 it took 3 years to perfect the process. From perfecting the fermentation mix to selecting the distilling method the ambition grew to create an authentic drinking experience that would champion the region. Through a combination of traditional and modern methods, we were able to create a truly unique South African experience.

Cape White Rum
- Floating Dutchman White Rum takes no prisoners, triple distilled, filtered twice heroes the base it was distilled from
- Summer fruits and caramel flavours on the nose, starts with the taste of berries on the palate, with a smooth tart finish
- The white rum is fermented in the same way as their Cape Rum, it goes through a third distillation and is blended to make this unique, Jamaican inspired white rum
- Vanilla and floral notes on the nose
- Smooth caramel, dark chocolate and dried stone fruit on the palate, with a light savory molasses and cacao finish
- It is aged on a combination of French and American oak and finally gets finished in refurbished red wine barrels, before it is bottled straight from the barrel
