About

Nestled along the mangrove-laced coral cliffs at Pongwe on the North-Eastern coast, Azao Resort & Spa boasts spacious rooms with high ceilings and views of the gardens or ocean. The resort features 49 comfortably furnished rooms, including suites and villas, of which 20 interlead. The hotel is located on a cove with a small, private beach. The property also has a great swimming pool with a swim-up bar. There is a resort shuttle to Kiwengwa Beach Club where water sports facilities are available, at an extra charge. The airport and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stone Town are just over an hour’s drive away.
