Seven Springs Vineyard is a premium wine producer, situated on the R320 Hemel en Aarde Valley road, between the seaside town of Hermanus and Caledon, in the picturesque Western Cape, South Africa. The vineyard nestles between Shaws Mountain to the north and the Teslaarsdal Mountain Range to the south, with Walker Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond these mountains. It is this oceanic influence, coupled with the shale-derived soils, known locally as Bokkeveld Shale, that gives the vines the potential to produce exceptional grapes from both north and south-facing vineyards.

- This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
- Previous vintage award: 4 Star Platter.
- After fermentation, the wine was then moved to 2nd and 3rd fill, French oak barrels and was left to mature for 15 months.
- Deep purple-red in colour.
- Delicious blackcurrant and blueberry flavours on the mid-palate offering supple though firm tannins on the finish.
- The length of this wine is good, with hints of white pepper and cloves that linger.
- The perfect accompaniment to any stew or a juicy piece of steak, this wine will also match perfectly with strong cheeses and even a chocolate dessert.
