The Simonsberg is named after the first Governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, after which Stellenbosch is also named. In 1699, he granted the freehold of this piece of land to Lourenz Kamfer, a German. It was originally named De Driesprong. The farm had various owners until Mr. Hans Otto Hoheisen bought it in 1938 as a retirement home for himself and his wife Deli. DELHEIM comes from the German for “Deli’s home”.

New Year's Eve is the most anticipated calendar event - and let's be honest, it's a little overrated. We get it already... "Happy Birthday time, you're really old!"
Either you're going out and partying at overcrowded parties where the chance of losing your friends is high...
Or you stay in, the whole neighbourhood is letting off fireworks, scaring the bejeebers out of your animals, and you try to comfort them.
The problem with New Year's Eve is that there is a high expectation of having a memorable start to the year.
It usually never happens that our expectations are met, but with our deal on VIP tickets to Secrets of Summer's NYE event with some of the hottest local and international music artists, you're sure to have the time of your life.
