Stellenbosch Hills is a proud South African winery established over 70 years ago. Its story, however, begins much earlier. The first farms in Vlottenburg were allocated in 1707 by the then Governor of the Cape of Good Hope, Simon van der Stel. Those properties went to two farmers, Gerrit Hanseret and Pierre Rochefort. It is widely accepted that the first farming activities, which included grape growing, started in 1707 in the area now home to Stellenbosch Hills. The winery received its current name in 2003, reflecting the broadened region, beyond Vlottenburg, from which its grapes were selected. Among them are some of Stellenbosch’s most exclusive, world-renowned vineyards. Today, Stellenbosch Hills embraces this heritage as part of its mission to create accessible, quality wines that are enjoyed around the world.

• Deep ruby red colour. This is a full-bodied wine with a well-integrated tannin structure and concentrated mid-palate.
• The wine is bursting with red and black berries, mulberry, and ripe plum flavours, combined with French oak spice and a hint of cloves.
• The wine is beautifully balanced, and the velvety smooth palate creates a lingering finish.
