De Kaapse Wijn is an ode to the first vineyards that were introduced to South African soil by the Dutch in 1655 followed by the first Cape wine produced in 1659. The blends are created to inhibit youthful vigour and infatuation - one of the many maidens longed for by young sailors at sea.
