Southern Road Wine Co. takes its name from winding roads that traverse South Africa’s picturesque wine region, which meander through vineyards, golden wheat fields and natural forest, and symbolise the journey taken by our grapes from vine to bottle.

• Mediterranean climate influences the vineyard, with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters, contributing to the wine's balanced character.
• Hand-harvested grapes at optimal ripeness ensure quality and precision in every bottle.
• Traditional vinification process: destemmed, crushed, and fermented on skins for 7 days at 25-30°C.
• Free run and pressed juices combined for a full-bodied experience, followed by natural malolactic fermentation in tanks.
• Aged in 225L oak barrels for 12 months, adding depth and complexity to the wine.
• The tasting profile includes rich dark berries, hints of cigar box, and subtle oak undertones.
• Gentle tannins provide a smooth, elegant finish.
• This wine would pair beautifully with hearty, flavourful dishes, like a beef stew, mushroom dishes or a charcuterie board.
