If you haven't heard, Ratanga Junction is closing down

Yup. Cape Town's favourite amusement park is officially shutting the doors for good on May 1st 2018.

It shouldn't really come as a shock. Ratanga Junction opened in December 1998 and it's kind of been closing down ever since. But now that it's official, we can't help but feel we need to hop on to the Cobra and hang on to our hats once more for old times' sake.

We'll be sorry to see it go.
