Mondays, right?

Today is the last real Monday of 2022. That's if you don't count next Monday and let's be honest, you shouldn't because it's a public holiday. How the time flies when you go to sleep early because of loadshedding for 200 nights a year, eh?

Many of us possess a Garfield-like hatred for Mondays, and in some cases that's fair. It's the end of the weekend, you've got to leave your loved ones behind and you have to catch up on the work that you mentally abandoned at 11 am the previous Friday.

But there's a lesson to be learned from that chubby, ginger cat. And that's to find joy in the little things. For Garfield it's lasagna and for you it could be the joy of grabbing a bargain on big brands like Apple, Amazon or The North Face.
