The Gizzu Everglow Rechargeable Emergency LED Bulb is an ideal solution for keeping the lights on during loadshedding. The 9W lightbulb features a 27mm Edison/Bayonet light fixture and gives off a warm white colour when lit. Its 1800mAh built-in battery allows it to stay powered during loadshedding. The light bulb takes around 5 hours to fully charge to 100% and can easily be charged by simply leaving the light turned on when there’s no loadshedding. If your light is turned on and a power outage or loadshedding occurs, then the light bulb goes into emergency mode, changing to a cool white colour.
While in emergency mode, the brightness can be manually adjusted between three pre-configured settings and can sustain up to 5 hours of additional use during loadshedding, depending on the brightness level. The brightness can be adjusted by turning the light on and off in 1-second intervals multiple times. Each time this is done the brightness will switch between 25%, 50%, and 100%. Leaving the lightbulb off for a while will reset the brightness setting back to its default 100% brightness.
Smart Bulb Technology enables the bulb to determine if there is a power failure as opposed to the light switch being turned off. If the light switch is on and the power fails, the bulb activates emergency mode and switches from Warm White to Cool White. If the light switch is off when the power fails the light will remain off unless turned on at the switch.
Please note this light bulb only comes in an A70 size (70 mm widest diameter and 133 mm height), so please check ceiling light cover dimensions to ensure that it will fit when switching out any standard A60 size bulb (60mm diameter). This light features preset brightness levels that are selectable only in emergency mode and is not compatible with dimmable light switches.
The primary colours are some of the first things we learn in preschool: red, yellow and blue. For a while, knowing just those is enough, and we might even decide that one of the three is our favourite forever. As we grow up, we learn to make even more colours from those, and eventually learn a whole lot of new names. Complicated names that we're not even sure we can identify: puce, magenta, cyan, mauve... It's quite normal, really, to showcase how much we know, and we'll admit it, saying your nails are a shade of limoncello sounds a lot more fancy than 'neon green'.
But sometimes, the basics are best, and by far the most classic. Think red lipstick, red roses and Chris de Burgh's 'Lady in Red'. And, of course, red wine. Which just happens to be our main deal: 6x bottles of Icarus Red Blend from Bergsig.
