These bulbs will work for up to 4 hours when there is a power outage. The light bulb has a built-in sensor to determine the state of the switch and will automatically stay on if there is load shedding or a power outage and the light switch is in the ‘ON’ position. It has a 2200mA battery and when it is fully charged can burn brightly for up to 4 hours. It needs a 6-hour charging time to restore it to its full brightness. When using the light bulb for the first few times it may flash or flicker. It is not faulty. The battery is building up ‘storage memory’. Please use it and recharge the battery at least 3 or 4 times for the first 2 – 3 days. The bulb works best when used alone in one fitting, with one switch to control it. Having multiple bulbs/fittings on one switch will reduce the efficacy of the bulb.
It's officially Braai Day in South Africa, or Heritage Day if you'd prefer to keep things formal. Still, we know what you'll be getting up to! It's a funny thing, a braai. It effortlessly brings us South Africans together, but also comes with its own collection of disagreements.
Like, wood or charcoal, which is better? What will you braai first, the chops or the wors? More importantly, who will be in charge of the fire for the day? Do you call it a braai, a barbeque or even shisa nyama?
All things considered, it's a lekker day to not be at work, and one thing we can all agree on is how great our deal is on a Weber Mini Chimney Starter (with 4kg Briquettes and Fire Lighter Cubes included, nogal!) Happy Braai Day, Mzansi!
