Distiller Charles Bryant was soon joined by his brother Glenn and friend Luigi Marucchi who shared the desire to create something really special. When it came to the still, they decided to re-invent the wheel by custom-designing a traditional copper still to their precise specifications. The research into molecular distillation revealed that some of the delicate botanicals would be better preserved by being distilled under vacuum and blended later. What started off as an exploration of technology and botany evolved into a passion – and that’s how Six Dogs Gin came into the world.

• Karoo Gin
• Delicate and balanced gin of twelve select botanicals. 
• Sip it and you will pick up paired notes of juniper and wild lavender that introduce the Karoo.
• What follows is a fresh medley of citrus including limes, mandarins and farm-grown lemon buchu. 
• Cassia, chamomile and angelica bind the heart of the Gin while the delicate flower of the acacia thorn adds a top note of soft sweetness. 
• Alcohol by volume: 43%
• Blue Gin
• Six Dogs Blue derives its name from the blue pea flower (Clitoria Ternatea), an antioxidant and aphrodisiac in traditional medicine. 
• The infusion of blue pea gives the gin its striking yet completely natural colour. 
• The alchemy of this unusual botanical is further revealed when the Gin is mixed with a good tonic, changing its colour to light pink.

• Pinotage Stained Gin
• Six Dogs Pinotage Stained is the love child of Six Dogs Gin and our neighbour’s highly prized block of pinotage grapes. 
• We distil this gin in small batches through generous quantities of juniper and fresh citrus.

• Honey Lime Gin
• Six Dogs Honey Lime is the result of a sustainability project where we learnt that the combination of farm honey and home-grown limes, when blended with the finest botanical spirit, proved irresistible. 
• Sip it and you will taste a subtle sweetness that cuts through the zestiness of the limes. 
• Six Dogs Honey Lime is best enjoyed with ice and a good Indian tonic on a hot summer’s day.

• Blue LIGHT Spirit Aperitif
• Blue LIGHT offers all the flavour at just more than half the alcohol content. 
• Crafted with precisely the right amount of alcohol to retain the crisp mouthfeel of a full-strength spirit, while elevating the juniper, rose pelargonium and blue pea flavours to exquisite new heights. 
• The infusion of blue pea also gives the spirit its striking natural colour, while the alchemy of this unusual botanical is further revealed when the spirit is mixed with tonic, changing the colour to a light pink.
