Located 45 minutes from Cape Town, on the banks of the Berg River at the foot of the Bainskloof Pass, this picturesque distillery was purchased by J. Sedgwick & Co. in 1886. One of the most beautiful grain whisky distilleries in the world, The James Sedgwick Distillery has received global recognition. Bain’s is the only whisky made solely from 100% sun-kissed South African grain and double matured in first-fill bourbon casks. 

Product Features

• Nose: Combination of toffee, floral and vanilla.
• Palate: A hint of cardamom spice softened by the sweet undertones of oak. Soft and well-rounded with more vanilla, pear and apple.
• Finish: A warm and extended mouth-feel with a balanced finish and lingering sweet citrus.
