Chela-Preg Pre-Natal Trimester 1 Morning Tablets and Evening Capsules™ is indicated to support foetal and maternal health during the first trimester of pregnancy (1-13 weeks). It supplies 25 micronutrients including DHA-omega 3 to boost maternal red-blood cells and for placental development. High dose vitamin B6 helps to reduce morning sickness which is common during the first trimester of pregnancy. Chela-Preg Trimester 1 Morning Tablets and Evening Capsules™ contains a lower dose of chelated iron (Ferrochel®) which assists red blood cell formation and placental development, while also being low-constipating and low-nauseating. Quatrefolic® is a stable 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) form of folic acid with a 300% better bioavailability than folic acid, for neural tube development. Quatrefolic® 5-MTHF bypasses the need for enyzymatic activation and is effective in cases of absorption-enzyme (DHFR) and MTHF reductase genetic polymorphisms.
