About

A warm dry winter followed by sporadic spring and summer rainfall kept temperatures cool and vines developing well. Warm conditions at harvest and new fruit from younger blocks has brought some exciting darker fruit-forward notes to our typically classic style. Black cherry combines with cedarwood smoke and the characteristic savoury complexity of this site with eastern spice and wild herb, showing intrigue beyond its youthfulness.

Product Features
  • All grapes hand sorted with a policy of “if in doubt chuck it out!” in order to refine the careful bunch selection done in the vineyard. Mostly whole berry cold soak for gentle extraction with a portion of ripe stalks returned to the must.
  • Batches are pressed separately to the barrel and matured for 10 months.
  • The bottled wine is cellared for at least a year before release.
