Tasting Notes
An aromatic wine, produced in the Stellenbosch region. A juicy fruit forward wine. The Shiraz giving some spice flavours, and the Cabernet shows ripe red and black fruit flavours, adding dimension and interest to the predominantly spicy wine. Fresh and flavourful, the silky texture is satisfying enough for drinking on its own, but it has enough personality to be confidently
matched with food.
Harvest
80% of the grapes are machine harvested, we carefully selected and sorted the grapes in the cellar, allowed cold maceration for 24 hours, before lightly pressing to preserve the fruit. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days and co-fermented with American Oak Chips. Components were harvested separate but blended together shortly after fermentation.
