In 1960 SIDI began as a craftsman’s workshop manufacturing mountain sports footwear. In the 1970’s SIDI began specialising in cycling footwear and boots for off-road and on-road motorcycling. Dino Signori, founder of SIDI, has combined a passion for cycling with more 50 years of experience manufacturing innovative sporting footwear.

The SIDI MTB Cape Cycling Shoes features “politex” material, which is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical-mechanical properties, the compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric + felt) that is then is film dyed for long-lasting colour retention. “Politex” offers strong resistance to ripping, laceration, stretching and fading. “Politex” is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is a totally “green” product.

Please note: Sidi shoes are quite small. Sidi strongly recommends taking one size larger than usual.

• Made from “Politex” material: Politex material offers strong resistance to ripping, laceration, stretching and fading.
• With Soft Instep 2 system: The anatomical and comfortable strap, placed on the top of the foot and coupled with a soft and thermo-formed material, will increase comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides to achieve the perfect center position. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep 2 is serviceable and replaceable. 
• Caliper buckle: The micrometric closure called “Caliper buckle” is adjustable by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both side buckles, or push the centre button to slightly loosen one tooth at the time. The system is also adjustable during a race. 
• Tecno 3 system: SIDI’s Tecno-3 dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. SIDI’s famously reliable and replaceable closures feature a proprietary SIDI wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most SIDI small parts, the Tecno-3 Buckle is serviceable and replaceable. 
• Sidi heel cap: The reinforced heel keeps the foot in an optimal position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure. 
• MTB Competition Sole: Has been specifically studied for this speciality, may be fitted with two toe spikes on the front for traction in difficult and muddy conditions. The toe spikes are sold separately.
