From the world-renowned Helderberg region of Stellenbosch comes an award-winning range of wines named after South African golf legend, Ernie Els, and skillfully crafted by winemaking legend, Louis Strydom. The winery was officially opened in 2005, and since then, the focus has been on producing a range of wines, with a particular focus on Cabernet Sauvignon. Recent renovations have transformed the winery into an iconic symbol of the Helderberg region.

- Red blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Viognier.
- Aged for 14 months in older oak barrels – 80% in 300 litre French oak barrels and 20% in 300 litre American oak barrels
- This vintage displays a dark, brooding nose with damp forest and meaty notes lifted by crunchy red and black fruits, plus, a charming savoury spice overlay.
- Aromas of bay leaf and hints of vanilla follow.
- This wine is vibrant and alight with a youthful energy.
- The bright palate ends with a juicy, sweet-fruited flourish.
